Youth Nordic Program: Grades K-8
About: The QRSC Youth Nordic Program is open to students from kindergarten to eighth grade. Students are grouped to receive instruction appropriate to their age and experience. Our programs are led by experienced, trained coaches.
NEW Schedule for Winter 2025: The Youth Program runs for 6 weeks from early January through mid February, three days a week after school on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 3:20pm to 4:30pm.
We encourage parents to participate in the afternoon program to learn along with their children and to assist the coaches. Kindergarten and first graders especially need help for the first 2 weeks. Parents can be on skis or snowshoes.
Youth Program extension: Two make-up days will be offered for Youth program in late February
Additional ski days will be offered in late February for Middle School and Youth skiers who are signed up for the Bill Koch Ski Festival.
